In 2017, the Eagles baseball team finished the season with a staggering 48-9 overall record. DSCC Baseball won the TCCAA Championship, Region VII Championship, East Central District Championship, and earned a trip to the Alpine Bank JUCO World Series held in Grand Junction, Colorado. Head Coach Robert White was honored by being named TCCAA and East Central Region Coach of the Year. The Eagles finished the season ranked #2 in the NJCAA National Rankings. Each year, multiple players win post-season athletic and academic awards, making DSCC one of the most sought-after Division I baseball teams in the state.
