COLLEGE FOOTBALL, USA — On this edition of the College Football Survivor Show, Doug Lesmerises and Shehan Jeyarajah look at the eight remaining playoff contenders and rank the quarterbacks for those teams.

Off the top, there’s a decision to be made about whether Michigan State and/or Oregon should be booted from the playoff discussion after both the Spartans and Ducks lost their second games last week. But then it was quarterback time.

Doug and Shehan each rank those eight, and there are some major differences in their lists. There’s also a historical look at the quarterbacks of the previous 28 playoff teams — how many of them were quarterbacks teams win because of, and how many of them were quarterbacks teams just win with?

The difference between winning because of and winning with — where do the guys draw that line with this group of quarterbacks?
