Fall Report Burke Granger – January 6, 2022
As the college baseball landscape navigated COVID protocols last fall, it ultimately meant less opportunities for the team to build a rapport together in preparation for the spring season. Perhaps that rust showed with the Nittany Lions early, as they got off to a slow start, going 4-10 in the first month. They’d rebound, however, playing .500 ball the rest of the way and finishing 18-24, good for ninth in the conference, their highest finish since 2016.
