rn rn

Garson spearheaded Duquesne’s shutout effort in the regular season finale, totaling 11 tackles and 3.5 sacks. The 3.5 quarterback takedowns were the most by a Duquesne player since Christian Kuntz had 3.5 sacks against Monmouth on Nov. 23, 2013. Relentlessly pressuring the opposing passer, Garson led a defensive unit that limited Wagner to 171 yards of offense and only seven first downs. With Duquesne holding a 7-0 edge, the graduate transfer made a stop on a third-down run play to force a punt early in the second quarter. He made three half-tackles on Wagner’s next possession, including a stop for no gain on a fourth-down attempt. Garson’s half-sack led to a three-and-out on Wagner’s opening possession of the second half. He made a solo sack on a first-down play, setting the stage for another three-and-out later in the third quarter.
