CBS Sports Network to re-air 2019 Auburn-Virginia, more

March Madness continues.

Last week, it was announced CBS Sports Network would re-air 26 memorable NCAA tournament games for those missing March Madness with the cancellation of this year’s tournament due to the coronavirus.

Another week calls for another round of games as CBS Sports Network has added 15 games to this week’s schedule, starting today.

Among those slated is Auburn’s controversial 63-62 loss to Virginia in the 2019 tournament. It is scheduled for Tuesday at 8 p.m. (9 p.m. ET), then again at midnight (1 a.m. ET). It will be broadcast again on Monday, April 6 at 6 p.m. (7 p.m. ET) and again later at midnight (1 a.m. ET).

Auburn fans, of course, remember it as the “double dribble” game.

With 1.5 seconds left, Virginia got the ball to Kyle Guy in the corner. He shot and Auburn’s Samir Doughty, hands straight up in the air, was called for a foul for contact to Guy’s hip.

Guy made three free throws with 0.6 seconds left, steadily swishing each one as debate immediately started over the sequence that sent him to the line, and Virginia beat Auburn 63-62 Saturday in the Final Four.

Moments before that, it appeared Virginia’s Ty Jerome double-dribbled into a decisive turnover, but it wasn’t called. It was, in a word, madness.
